We have spoken to the Kingswood centre today and yesterday and they have been able to remain open. Today (Friday), they have said that the roads are clear near the centre and that they've been able to get coaches in and out all day.
So, at the moment, I would say that we need to prepare as if we are going on the trip on Monday morning. However, we will continue to reassess the weather situation over the weekend and if at any point we feel it is going to be unsafe, we will cancel and rearrange a new date.
I know people probably had lots of questions that they wanted to ask during the two days we've been shut so I understand that parents may be feeling anxious. Above this comment you will see that I have added the letter that has all of the information about clothing and what to pack in case you've lost yours.
Remember that we are due to leave at 8am so please begin to arrive at Woodpeckers classroom any time from 7.45am. If you haven't completed your medical form please bring it with you on Monday morning. If you can't find it, don't panic, we will have spares and get you to fill them before we leave. Please bear with us as we get this done - obviously we would normally have been chasing people for these this week as well as getting them photocopied etc. so we will be trying to get all of that done as well before departure.
I have sent a text out which I hope you've all received and I will continue to communicate with you using the text system, this part of the website and the 'Friends of Holly Hill' page on Facebook - I can answer any direct questions you may have through the facebook page.
Hopefully, the trip will be able to go ahead and I will see you all on Monday morning xx
