WOW! Geoff Cooper (Mrs Coopers husband) came to Nursery today. Geoff is an Emergency Technician. He showed us lots of important equipment that he uses on the ambulance. We had a look at the ambulance too.

The North Wind doth blow and we did have snow, and what did the cygnets do then, poor things......... we made shape frames and counted pine cones and worked with large shapes.

Today in Whisper's Wood we made a winter home for a hedgehog.
Yay..... The grass heads have hair.
Chris, the Minister from Selston Church of Christ - Portland Rd, came to talk to F1 & 2 all about Harvest Time. He told us a story all about soup.
Today we worked as a team. Our job was to build the bug hotel.

We all made a grass head. We hope that they will grow.
WOW. Its Pizza Time. We all made a pizza to take home.
Week 3 in Whisper's woodland. Mrs Keegans read us Guess How Much I love you in Autumn. We then collected natural objects to make an Autumn Monster.
No Pens Wednesday - So we made Owl biscuits and we practised balancing on the new stepping stones. Counting the frogs in the water tray and using the puppets to retell the Owl Babies story.
This week at Forest School we were looking at the different colours of Autumn. Whisper & Mrs Keegans read us a story all about going on a leaf hunt. We then made our own Autumn crowns

Nibble Fingers. The children hammered golf tees into pumpkins. This activity requires, hand eye coordination and to be able to hold a small object between thumb and forefinger. Very tricky when you are only 3 :)

Hey F1's & F2's. Do you remember decorating a bike ready for the Cycling Tour of Britain. Well, guess what, Holly Hill Nursery won the best decorated bike. Well done everyone. We were presented with a book voucher in Hero's assembly on Friday xx
